Start free — Level 1 is open forever

Your child learns in your family’s voices — and you see exactly what they learned.

An 8-level journey through letters, numbers, coloring, stories and games, narrated by Mama, Baba, Teta and Jiddo. Every level ends with a calm report: where they’re strong, and where a little practice helps.

How it works

Three steps — they take it from there

1

Record your voices once

One word is enough to begin. Mama, Baba, Teta, Jiddo — every voice you record shows up in the games straight away, and stays yours as a keepsake.

2

They play, and learn

Letters and numbers traced by finger, coloring that stays inside the lines, stories and puzzles made from your own photos. No wrong answer to discourage them, and nothing for sale inside their play.

3

And you see what they learned

At the end of every level Hadhoud brings you the certificate and a calm report: the strengths, what needs practice, and one thing to play together.

Your child’s journey

Eight levels, one after another

From “Voices & Words” to “Dandana Champion”. Every level is opened by playing, never by waiting — and your child never sees a padlock: the next level is a bud on Dandoon’s tree, waiting its turn.

For parents

“He’s playing” is not an answer. This is.

Every other kids’ app tells you how many minutes they sat there. Dandana tells you what they learned — across eight skills, in plain words, with no grade, no ranking and no comparison to another child.

Hadhoud’s tip: play “Tidy the House” together — two rounds is plenty this week.

Together Time

The best five minutes in Dandana are off the screen

Every week, a small riddle only the two of you can solve: count the apples at the market, hunt for something blue at home, record Teta’s voice. The app hands you the mission — you are the teacher.

Yes — we are an app that asks your child to put the screen down. That is deliberate.

This week’s riddle

“Something red in the kitchen… you can eat it, and it wears a little green hat. Who finds it first?”

— shown to you alone, behind the parent gate.

Dandoon, the Dandana bird
Dandoon in her tree on the Dandana map
Dandoon

Not a teacher. His friend.

Dandoon is a bird who lives in the tree at the top of the map. She hums, she naps, she hops when your child taps her — and she has three real jobs:

  • She suggests the next stop. One world wears her ring at a time — chosen from what is new, what they have not visited lately, the variety of play, and their age. She never sends them back where they have just been.
  • She praises the specific thing. Not another “well done”: “You traced it precisely — you never left the line.” In fully voweled classical Arabic, and never the same sentence twice.
  • She wears what your child earned. Every star adds a piece to her wardrobe and a decoration to her tree. The reward has a face, not a number.

And behind the parent gate lives Hadhoud — your friend, not your child’s. He speaks in an adult register and arrives at the end of every level with the certificate and the report. The two birds never share a screen: one is your child’s, one is yours.

The worlds

Six worlds drawn from their real life

Each world holds a game, a narrated story in classical Arabic, and coloring pages built from its own vocabulary. And My Things is their own world — never closed.

His cat gets into the app. And the family photo speaks.

Photograph his toy, his bed, his cat, and record their names in your own voices — they turn into cards and games by themselves. Family photos become puzzles, and when the last piece lands the picture speaks in its owner’s voice.

That exact moment is the one parents film and send to each other.

Privacy

Your family’s voices never leave your device

No accounts, no sign-in, no upload. Your child’s photos and your recordings stay on the device alone, and you can save a copy of the album to your own storage at any time — free, in both directions.

We collect only anonymous app-usage analytics to improve the app — no advertising identifier, and no data about the child. The parent gate keeps settings and purchases out of small hands.

FAQ

What parents usually ask

What stays free?

Level 1 of your child’s journey is open forever — no card, no clock — along with three voice cards, which is enough to play every voice game. A subscription opens the rest of the road, and nothing you recorded or opened is ever taken back.

What age is it for?

Two to six. Four age bands (Sprout · Explorer · Thinker · Champion) change only how hard the questions are — they never close a door or withhold a game. The birth date stays on the device.

Are our photos and recordings uploaded?

No. They stay on your device and are never sent to any server — no accounts, no upload. We collect only anonymous usage analytics, with no advertising identifier and no data about the child.

Are there ads?

None at all, on every plan. And there is nothing for sale inside the child’s play space — everything to do with buying sits behind the parent gate.

Does it work offline?

Yes — ideal for the car and for travelling.

What about Android?

Dandana is on the App Store now, with Google Play coming soon.
